You know the importance of having clear objectives, you keep up with the ever-changing algorithms and how that affects your results, and you take an innovative approach to developing strategy. You know why you’re posting, who you’re talking to, how to get results, and how to analyze those results.

In addition to your social skills, you’re good with a camera and a strong writer who loves stepping into a brand’s shoes and finding its voice. You have opinions – but you also have options, and you’re always ready to try another angle or brainstorm a fresh approach.

About the Job

  • Work as part of our social media team to plan and execute long-term social media strategies for a range of clients – includes developing and writing strategies, writing content calendars, scheduling and day-to-day posting, account monitoring, and analytics reporting, as well as some basic photography
  • Plan and execute paid social media promotions, ad campaigns, and contests
  • Follow social media trends and changes, and be innovative in using social media to get results for our clients

Skills and Experience Required

  • Proficiency in and understanding of a broad range of social media platforms, tools, and metrics
  • Experience in planning strategy and content, posting and monitoring, and reporting for business accounts on various social media platforms
  • Experience with paid functions of social media platforms
  • Strong writing skills with attention to detail; excellent spelling and grammar
  • Ability to write for a variety of brands in a defined brand tone and voice
  • Able to contribute as part of the Creative Team; self-motivated to deliver on deadlines without being managed
  • Photography skills for social media content creation a major asset; video skills would be an asset but are not required
  • Other digital marketing skills and experience such as Google Ads, etc. is an asset but not required
